Catherine Boston, MPH to Speak at ABA Joint Regional CLE Program
Wednesday, January 29 – Thursday, January 30 The American Bar Association (ABA) is hosting their 2020 Environmental & Energy, Mass Torts, and Products Liability Litigation Committees’ Joint Regional CLE Program this year in the Westin Snowmass Resort in Colorado. This program, for which Roux is a sponsor, is seeking 9.0 credit hours (including 1.0 ethics hour) in 60-minute states, and 10.8 CLE credit hours (including 1.2 ethics hours) in 50-minute states.
On Thursday morning, Roux’s Catherine Boston, MPH of our Massachusetts office will be speaking as part of an Environmental & Energy Committee Breakout panel on “PFAS: Forever Chemicals That Are Everywhere, Even Courthouses.” This panel will explain why PFAS compounds are such a significant regulatory and litigation focus, including for real property and toxic tort litigation. Ms. Boston holds a B.A. from Colgate University, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University with a focus on Environmental Risk Assessment and Toxicology, where her research has revolved around per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
