This webinar is Part II of a two-part series that will review a complex case study which exemplifies the accelerated timeline associated with the implementation of due diligence activities, including the assignment of environmental liability costs, remediation, and site closure. This Part II of the webinar series will delve into the advanced remedial technologies of enhanced pneumatic fracturing for amplified injections of zero-valent iron (ZVI), implemented to meet said accelerated schedule.
The project objective for the case study discussed in this webinar was to identify, design, and implement a robust groundwater remedy that could be substantially completed in under one year, prior to breaking ground for a proposed warehouse development. The presentation will discuss the Pre-Design Investigation (PDI), remedial design, implementation, recent groundwater results, and planned future evaluation of the remedy, including lessons learned.
