Winning The Battery Storage Race: Understanding Opportunities & Challenges
Wednesday, July 21st at 1-2pm EDT
New York and New Jersey have established aggressive goals to transition from fossil fuel to renewable forms of electricity generation as part of their greenhouse gas emission reduction initiatives. As more wind and solar resources are integrated into the power grid, battery energy storage systems (BESS) will play an increasingly larger role during periods of peak energy demand and in managing demand from those intermittent renewable resources.
This webinar will explore the policies and regulatory tools being used by New York and New Jersey to increase the prevalence of BESS and the hurdles confronted by developers during the BESS permitting process.
