Sharefest Holiday Support: Long Beach, California Office
Roux’s office in Long Beach, California is supporting families and students facing significant barriers to support, connections, and skills that they need to achieve economic success. These families and individuals are partnered with Sharefest and we are working with mentors to provide basic necessities and holiday support for the family, their homes, and educational support. Our support in conjunction with the Sharefest organization helps to deliver ongoing mentoring, educational support, case management, and opportunities for students on the fringe of the education system to build networks and explore pathways to success.
The Roux Long Beach team purchased items requested by the organization, including home cleaning supplies, towels, backpacks/school supplies, and children’s clothing, taking time to organize the items and stuff backpacks to make school supply kits. We will be dropping off the goods to the Sharefest office this week so mentors can deliver the items directly to those in need in time for the holidays!
Holiday Drive for Angels Community Outreach: Logan Township, New Jersey Office
Our Logan Township, New Jersey office participated in a CSR Holiday drive for kids in need. Many children and families are in need of a little extra help this holiday season. Angels Community Outreach of Pitman, New Jersey has a goal of every child (including teenagers!) waking up to the joy of receiving holiday gifts. Thanks to the generous donations of our participants, the Logan team was able to fulfill the entire holiday wish list for seven teenagers/young adults and make their season brighter.
Holiday Drive for Easterseals: Burlington, Massachusetts Office
Our Burlington, Massachusetts office hosted a holiday toy drive for Easterseals. The organization’s locations in New Hampshire and Vermont provide support to people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and those in need at all ages. Every year in New Hampshire, hundreds of young children enter school with learning and health issues. This toy drive provides toys for children of these families who would otherwise have a difficult time purchasing them for the holidays. Roux supported six children through this toy drive thanks to the generosity of our Massachusetts office.
