Chase Gerbig Speaking at In2Risk Conference
Thursday, November 7 – Saturday, November 9 The Institutes CPCU Society‘s In2Risk Conference is all about exchanging ideas. This incredible three-day experience filled with networking, cutting-edge technical education, leadership development, inspiring keynotes, the joy of conferment, and a few surprises along the way.
On Friday, November 8, Roux’s Chase Gerbig, PhD, PE will speak on a panel entitled There’s Something in the Water: PFAS Strike Again at 2pm. This panel will discuss US and global implications of PFAS from legal, environmental, and insurance perspectives. PFAS are “forever chemicals,” for which there has been massive exposure on a global level over the past 80 years. This panel will discuss the health, environmental, and insurance implications arising from these chemicals, their regulation, and the current and potential future litigation, and how we see these issues developing in the future both in the US and abroad.
