Roux Releases Inaugural Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) Annual Report
Roux is pleased to announce the release of our inaugural ESG report. This report is designed to inform our clients, communities, and the public of Roux’s ongoing commitment to social, environmental, and charitable endeavors.
This report provides an overview of Roux’s growing set of services in the areas of environmental engineering and remediation, as well as an expansion of services in economics, ecological solutions, natural resource damages, and human health risk assessment. Additionally, the report highlights several Roux projects that have successfully created innovative, sustainable solutions for our clients.
The Roux ESG report profiles the firm’s social and environmental goals for 2023, as well as our short-term and long-term goals. Additionally, the report includes an Environmental Impact Policy that outlines Roux’s commitment to our clients and the communities we serve, and the firm’s perpetual focus on protecting human health and the environment on every Roux project. The report also details our impressive health and safety performance and efficacious firm-wide programs in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and employee mentorship.
As a privately held environmental consulting firm, Roux has no formal or mandatory ESG reporting requirements. However, in the interest of transparency to the public and our clients, we felt it was paramount to create this report to highlight our social and environmental performance and pave a path toward greater corporate sustainability.
