Amy Elizabeth O’Connell

Ms. O’Connell is a licensed attorney in multiple jurisdictions with over fifteen years of in-house legal experience serving as an advisor in the consulting, retail, and technology sectors. Ms. O’Connell joined Roux after serving many years as Associate General Counsel for a privately owned retailer and having contributed to the growth of the organization from less than $100M to over $1 billion in annual revenue through strategic acquisitions, securing significant business tax incentives, and smart risk mitigation. Ms. O’Connell has managed multimillion-dollar litigation portfolios, negotiated with Fortune 500 companies, navigated federal and state authorities and agencies, and participated in the successful closing of multitudes of deals.

At Roux, Ms. O’Connell acts as advisor to the Board of Directors, counseling and supporting all business units including the C-suite, Finance, Health and Safety, Human Resources, and Information Technology on regulatory, compliance, and policy matters. She also supports all Principals’ client relationships and projects from initiation to completion, while managing the risk of the organization. Ms. O’Connell was an integral part of the team that designed, created, and integrated Roux’s Design Professional Corporation to provide professional services in New York. Ms. O’Connell is fully admitted to practice law in New York, Illinois, and Texas, and holds in-house counsel admissions in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
