BROS Superfund Site

Roux implemented a $15 million RI/FS program at a landfill in New Jersey. As part of the final remedy, Roux designed a 20-acre alternative phytotechnology cover system, dramatically reducing leachate generation and saving millions of dollars over other possible remedies. The design consisted of approximately 6 to 24 inches of soil cover, 13,000 hybrid poplars, cool season grasses, and minimal structural drainage components.
