Roux Office Spotlight: Houston, Texas & Office Expansion
Roux’s Texas office opened in 2017, expanding our geographical footprint and creating more accessibility to the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Energy markets. Through moving from The Woodlands to Houston; hiring several capable scientists, geologists, and engineers; and further expansion this year, Roux’s service offerings in Texas cover several of Roux’s core practice areas including the Real Estate, Industrial, Engineering & Remediation, Litigation, Insurance, and Public sectors. We’ve also expanded into providing civil engineering services; air permitting; produced water treatment; Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance; Sediment Management; and Green & Sustainable Remediation services.
This month, we are excited to announce the opening of our newest Roux satellite office in Corpus Christi, Texas. We look forward to growing this office in support of our ongoing work in Corpus Christi and providing our services in Texas on an even larger scale.

Harold Barber is a registered professional engineer with over thirty-five years’ experience in environmental engineering and consulting. He holds a BS in Ocean (Civil) Engineering and an MBA from Texas A&M University. Mr. Barber has over thirty-five years of experience in the solid and hazardous waste management industries, including engineering, environmental compliance, and operations management, as well as exploration and production waste management and disposal for the Oil and Gas industry. He is also experienced in executing and managing geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, shallow and deep foundations, environmental permitting, and wastewater treatment.
Dr. Larry Lew is a geologist with over thirty-eight years of overseas and domestic, practical, and academic experience. Dr. Lew has extensive experience in assembling, managing, and working with multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex projects in the US and Latin America. Dr. Lew has provided soil and groundwater remediation and regulatory compliance services to the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and Manufacturing market sectors. He has managed remediation projects that have led to closure of numerous sites. Additional projects he has worked on have involved RCRA permitting; water and waste compliance; and compliance auditing of large, complex facilities.
Terry Lawson is an experienced environmental professional in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Waste, and Industrial Gas sectors. She holds an MS degree in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science from the University of Houston. She has served as subject matter expert in air, water, and waste for various corporations. Her range of experience includes auditing, due diligence, compliance system development, corporate reporting for environmental risks, EHS enforcement resolution, and permitting. Her current projects include air permitting for an energy client that is installing several power generation stations in West Texas and air support services for an oil and gas support organization that has numerous locations throughout the US.
