Ryan Stifter to Speak at Law Seminars International PFAS Conference

Monday, December 9 – Tuesday, December 10 Roux’s Ryan Stifter will join two panels at the Law Seminars International (LSI) Conference on PFAS Litigation in San Diego, California—a timely, new conference regarding evolving regulations; forensic techniques; theories of liability; and lines of defense, valuation, and case studies.

The two-day program focuses on environmental and human health litigation surrounding per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). No longer a so-called emerging contaminant, PFAS have been the subject of increasing litigation over cleanup and compensatory costs for environmental damage.

On Tuesday, Mr. Stifter will be speaking on approaches and challenges for valuing environmental damages from PFAS and presenting a case study on the valuation underlying the 2018 landmark natural resources damage settlement in State of Minnesota v. 3M.
