What’s New with Roux? Introducing Water Resources, ESG, & Our Newest Office!
From anniversaries to new market sectors, 2021 was full of celebration and promise, allowing us to reach more clients and develop our services to further our goal of solving complex environmental challenges. This year, we look forward to extending into new markets, expanding our nationwide reach, and providing quality advisory, compliance, and field services.
Our newest Roux market, Water Resources, is led by Andrew (Andy) Zdon, P.G., CEG, CHG who has recently joined us in Oakland, California. Mr. Zdon has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of geology and hydrogeology-related projects.
Within our Water Resources market, Roux works with non-profit, public, and private sector clients in the analysis, management, and wise development and conservation of their water resources. Roux combines field investigations, laboratory analyses including geochemical isotope analyses, and advanced two- and three-dimensional modeling techniques to conduct our investigations, analyses, and plan development. Additionally, we launched a new service area dedicated to Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG). ESG metrics are standards for a company’s operations that measure its sustainability and social responsibility.
The environmental criteria can include a company’s energy use, emissions, waste disposal, pollution management, and how it performs as a steward of nature. Roux provides our clients with Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and can tailor and adapt the plans based on prevailing compliance standards. These EM
Ps establish that a company is taking steps to address their sustainability, sending a strong signal to the public and investment community regarding their commitment to the environment and their people. Read more
This market is led by Roux Principal Peter R. Kelso, who also works within our Economic & Complex Analytics (ECA) group, providing strategic advisory and expert witness services to corporate and insurance clients throughout the United States on product and environmental litigation matters. He is supported by our team of well-rounded scientists, engineers, and consultants.
We are excited to announce that our newest location has opened in Chicago, Illinois! This new addition allows Roux to better service our clients as a result of growing business within the Chicagoland area. Our Illinois Metro office will support the efforts of our Oak Brook, Illinois office, which has been in operation since 1999.
